Attorney Charlotte Nehring Trolle

Charlotte has extensive and specialised experience in family law, including cases concerning divorce, custody, residence and visitation rights.

She has worked with family law both from the public authority side and as an adviser to parents. Her background from the Danish State Administration (Statsforvaltningen), now the Agency of Family Law (Familieretshuset), gives her in-depth knowledge of the processes, decisions and considerations that are important in family law cases.

This experience is valuable in her advice, as Charlotte can help clients understand how the authorities typically assess a case, which information is important, and which solutions are realistic.

Charlotte advises with a focus on finding sustainable solutions for her clients and their children. She emphasises honest and clear advice and a practical approach, giving clients a realistic understanding of their options, the process and the next steps. Her working method is conflict-reducing, with respect for the fact that parents often need to be able to cooperate about their children even after the case has ended.

She assists clients before, during and after separation or divorce. This may include advice before important decisions are made, assistance in drafting or reviewing agreements, preparation for or participation in meetings with the Agency of Family Law (Familieretshuset) or the municipality. If the case proceeds to the Family Court, Charlotte handles the case throughout, including the preparation of pleadings, participation in court hearings and related matters.
